Central BranchEssential Federal Credit Union (formerly Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union) selected Cockfield Jackson Architects to design a new 4,340 square foot branch credit union in Central, Louisiana.
The client desired 6 interactive video teller stations with a central check writing desk, 3 workstations for member services representatives, waiting area, manager’s office, conference room, support spaces, three drive-up teller stations and an ATM. The interior design response was a carefully chosen color scheme utilizing different wall and floor materials to create an enjoyable user retail experience. The focal point of the design is a water wall that can be seen from the front door. Recognizable characteristics of water can be seen in the carpet as well as the wavy metallic ceiling. Three interactive customer stations flank each side of the water wall and each station is oriented to provide a sense of privacy in an otherwise open space. The drive-up teller lanes also utilize the interactive customer stations and are located under an arched copper canopy. The canopy detail was repeated as shading devices at the main lobby windows. |
