The Main Library at Goodwood wins ENR Project of the Year Award

Baton Rouge, LA, USA – January, 2015 – The Main Library at Goodwood wins 2014 ENR (Engineering News-Record) Project of the Year Award in the Best Government/Public Buildings category. The award honors building teams that created the best projects of 2014 nationwide. General Contractor for the project is Milton J. Womack Inc. of Baton Rouge.  Designed by The Library Design Collaborative, a joint venture of Baton Rouge firms Cockfield Jackson Architects and Tipton Associates and Dallas firm Dewberry Architects Inc., the new $35 Million dollar Library is LEED certified and is considered to be on the cutting edge of technology and sustainability.  It is located at 7711 Goodwood Boulevard and is seamlessly integrated with BREC’s Independence Park.
