Our residential design work is based on the traditions and design vocabulary of authentic Louisiana architecture; Acadian, Norman French, West Indies, Greek Revival, Federalist, Georgian, Gulf Coast Cottage, Bungalow, etc. We take great pride in our ability to design a very functional, yet authentic home within the parameters of these traditional Louisiana architectural styles.
PROCESS
Each project begins with a Building Program that is developed by the Architect and Client in an interactive process. This Program establishes the scope and budget for the project and serves as the basis for all future functional and aesthetic design decisions. The Program includes information defining goals and concepts, departmental functions, adjacency requirements, area requirements, budget and preliminary code requirements.
FEES
Professional fees are negotiated with the Client on an individual project basis dependent on the scope of services to be provided and the nature of the project. Fees may be developed as lump sum, hourly, hourly with a guaranteed maximum, or based on a percentage of construction cost. Invoicing is done monthly or at specified milestones during the project's development.
