This renovation and addition to an existing facility provided the Office of State Buildings with a new service center that includes offices, warehouse storage, repair shops, custom designed greenhouse, support spaces, specialty equipment, paint spray booths, welding, and woodworking areas.  Part of the existing structural system was retained, while inadequate portions were retrofitted or replaced.

This traditionally styled, new office building for the Louisiana banking industry’s service organization includes a living room-styled waiting room, board room outfitted with audio / video systems and video conferencing, staff offices, support spaces, and a large multi-functional training center with audio / video systems and video conferencing for educational programs. The Norman French styled building combines traditional character and casual atmosphere with old pine trusses and beams and old brick flooring. The plan wraps on three sides around a central courtyard and provides views and an outdoor gathering space.

This new three story office building includes a large entry foyer and gathering lobby, board meeting rooms, catering kitchen, and executive offices on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor contains perimeter partitioned offices and interior modular furniture, as well as support spaces. The 3rd floor, originally built as shell space, was later built out similar to the 2nd floor.
